ABOUT US
Fluid Maintenance Solutions optimizes fluid efficiency in the machining and water industries via biological testing. FMS provides bacteria testing, test kits, buffers, and digital refractometers. At FMS, we are dedicated to making a change in the metalworking industry by pioneering a new way to test for bacteria in order to maintain machining coolant. We also cater to the water industry by providing an affordable and reliable biological testing product for laboratories and water treatment.
THE FIRST OF IT'S KIND
Fluid Maintenance Solutions developed the Plate Count to completely replace your standard dipslide. Too often, dipslides fall apart, have premature growth, or produce smeared, unreadable results. The Plate Count is superior in every way from quality, to consistency. With the accuracy of the swab on a horizontal surface, the results are concise and much more accurate. You can see from the independent study that through proper incubation, the Plate Counts also detects more yeast/mold/fungus growth which gives you more data to make better decisions for your client. If you have any questions or would like to try a box of the TTC/MALT Plate Count, please reach out to us, we are happy to help.
Client Testimonial
"We believe the Plate Counts in comparison to the dipslide are an all-around superior product. The Plate Counts are more accurate, reliable, and produce clearer concise results compared to the dipslides which become foggy and harder to see as demonstrated in the comparison results. When dipping with a conventional dipslide, you have to shake off excess sample. With the Plate Count you have the accuracy of the swab on a horizontal surface that creates very concise individual colonies to collect data from. Also, we have found that the horizontal surface of the Plate Count doesn’t produce pooling or have blotches which makes the sample more uniform.
The vertical design of the dipslide is forced to run to the bottom of the paddle which creates a smeared unreadable result as seen in the comparison pictures. The Plate Count also incubates more accurately and consistently. Throughout our testing we noticed that the Plate Counts could detect more yeast and mold growth that the conventional dipslide did not detect, providing more detailed, accurate, and consistent results across all samples. All of these findings were of the same incubation times and at room temperature of 73F-75F. In conclusion, the Plate Count is not only preferred, but is a far superior product that sets a new industry standard in bacteria testing."
